Bound scripts from the first few years of Captain Kangaroo: 1956, 1957 and 1958, personally owned by Bob Keeshan. His hit show debuted the year prior to the beginning of this set, 1955, and ran for the next thirty years. Four-volume set contains selected scripts from 13 February 1956 through 16 January 1958. Bound scripts are in the traditional 1950's text block format and feature pencil notations by an unknown hand scattered throughout. Scripts include episode numbers 96-199; 300-399; 400-499; 500-599. Bound in black cloth boards with gilt lettering and all edges red. Four volumes each measure 9'' x 11'' and together weigh 24 pounds. Some cocking to spines, else near fine.
