Captain Kangaroo bound scripts for the entire 1956 season. Twelve-volume set contains typed production scripts for episodes 66-326, dated 2 January 1956 through 31 December 1956. Early scripts from the show's second year detail episode numbers, characters, sketch dialogue, stage direction, prop list, costumes, musical cues, revision pages and more, with occasional handwritten notes in pencil. Bound in black cloth boards with gilt lettering indicating title, date and episode numbers. Volumes each measure 8.75'' x 11.25'' and together weigh 34 pounds. Includes Robert Keeshan's personal bookplate on front free endpapers. Near fine.
