Upon his personal letterhead, Coolidge writes to his long-time supporter Thomas Cochran, who helped Coolidge get nominated for Vice President at the 1920 Republican convention. In full, ''My dear Mr. Cochran: - Mr. Bliss told me you were home. I had been waiting your return to send you a word of thanks for all your care of me. I want you to know how much I appreciate it. / Every time things look better something new breaks out. But I cannot see how their can be much left to happen now. We are hoping you can come to see us when the weather is better. / yours / Calvin Coolidge''. Single page measures 7'' x 10.5''. Crease near bottom, otherwise near fine condition.
