C.S. Lewis typed letter signed, composed on a Magdalen College, Oxford note card. Dated 4 October 1950, Lewis sends ''all good wishes for London'' to a former student, E.G. Donohoe, who had previously failed his English Master of Arts preliminary exam at Oxford and was thus denied entrance into the school. No hard feelings as Lewis here appears to be wishing his former student well in his next endeavor. Card measures 4.5'' x 3.5'', postmarked 4 October 1950 from Oxford. Signed ''C. S. Lewis'' in fountain pen. Light wear and paperclip impression, overall very good condition.
