Bruce Lee's personally owned leather groin protector, worn by Lee during his sparring sessions. Spartan brand gear is dark red leather on front, and white leather on back, with red elastic band along bottom. Elastic on one side is torn, and lacing to secure gear in back is absent. Moderate wear, overall very good condition. From the collection of Herb Jackson, whose well-documented friendship with Lee began when he trained in Jeet Kune Do at Lee's Los Angeles martial arts academy. Before Lee's move to Hong Kong, he gifted many pieces of his martial arts equipment to Jackson. With a COA from Herb Jackson's son.
