Land grant signed by Benjamin Franklin, as President of the Supreme Executive Council of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, dated 27 October 1787. Franklin grants a parcel of Pennsylvanian land called ''Uttsburg in Northampton County'' to Jacob Utt. Signed ''B. Franklin'' at lower left and co-signed by Charles Biddle. Document retains its paper seal at top left and includes endorsement by notary. Measures 13.5'' x 15.75''. Small closed tear affecting paraph under Franklin's signature, overall very good condition.
