Beta cloth name tags for the Apollo 11 crew, each printed with an astronaut's name: ''N. ARMSTRONG'', ''M. COLLINS'' and ''E. ALDRIN''. Name tags are in the ''Type II'' style intended for use on either the inflight coverall garment (ICG), the constant wear garment (CWG), the portable life support system (PLSS), the PLSS oxygen purge system (OPS), or the PLSS remote control unit. Beta cloth is a fire proof material made from teflon coated glass fibers to protect the astronaut in the event of fire; these tags are surplus and were not used on the Apollo 11 mission. Each name tag measures approximately 7.5'' x 2.75''. Near fine condition.
