Ford upon the dedication page: ''To my friend Mayor Henry P. Ford / with sincere regard / Andrew Carnegie / Jany 17th 1899''. Red hardcover features an engraved illustration of an elephant encircled in gilt. 360pp. book measures 5.5'' x 7.5''. Slight toning. Near fine.
