Amelia Earhart signed first edition, first printing of ''20 Hrs. 40 Mins.'', Earhart's account of her gender breaking flight across the Atlantic Ocean in 1928. New York: G.P. Putnam's Sons, 1928. Signed by Earthart in fountain pen on the verso of the frontispiece, ''Amelia M. Earhart'' without inscription. Volume is full of photographs documenting Earhart's flight, including some taken en route from her aircraft ''Friendship''. Book runs 314pp. and measures 5.5'' x 8.25''. Bound in publishers maroon boards with gilt lettering, with illustrated endpapers. Separation starting to hinges and detached frontispiece. Some chipping to half-title page and light soiling to boards. Overall in good to very good condition.
