Alfred Hitchcock signed self portrait sketch of his famous profile, rendered on the half-title page of ''Hitchcock's Films: by Robin Wood''. London: The Book Service Ltd., 1969. In fine black felt-tip, Hitchcock inscribes the sketch to Christopher Gray, and signs ''Alfred J Hitchcock''. Softcover book measures 5.375'' x 6.25''. In good to very good condition with some creasing to covers, light wear and discoloration. Signature page is very good plus. Ownership inscription of recipient and consignor, Christopher Gray, to front free endpaper. Gray acquired the signature at a book signing while a film student at UCLA, circa 1970.
