Renowned 20th century photographer Alfred Eisenstaedt signed limited edition photo of Winston Churchill giving his famous ''V for Victory'' symbol - the powerful emblem that sustained Allied citizens during the darkest hours of World War II. Eisenstaedt captured this image for ''LIFE'' magazine in Liverpool, England in 1951, showing Churchill smiling in satisfaction. Large semi-glossy photograph measures 11'' x 14'', signed by Eisenstaedt on the photographic border at lower right and numbered 40 in the limited edition of 50 at lower left. With Time Inc. stamps on verso. Faint crease, overall near fine condition.
