Albert Einstein typed letter signed, writing to photographer Sanford Roth. Dated 17 June 1953 on Einstein's personal embossed stationery from Princeton, Einstein writes, ''Thank you for your letter and the pictures. I liked best the one of the head only and should be grateful if you would send me a few prints of it - if possible in a smaller size...[signed] A. Einstein''. Roth famously captured a series of photographs of Einstein in his office, appearing relaxed and smiling. Letter measures 8.5'' x 11''. Folds and uniform toning with mounting remnants on verso. Overall in very good condition.
