Academy Award certificate nominating George Pal for the production of ''And To Think I Saw It On Mulberry Street'', an animated short film based on the Dr. Seuss story, released in 1944. The inventor of the animated technique known as ''Puppetoon'', Pal was nominated for an Academy Award in the animation category for seven straight years from 1942-1948. With Academy seal at lower left, certificate measures 10'' x 11.5''. Toning and light wear, else near fine condition.
