Photograph of Abraham Lincoln, taken on 3 June 1860 by Lincoln's favorite photographer Alexander Hesler, of whom Lincoln remarked: ''That looks better and expresses me better than any I have ever seen; if it pleases the people I am satisfied.'' 19th century oval photograph measures 6'' x 8'', printed on period paper. Very mild dampstaining, else near fine condition.
