He writes in part, ''We are planning a production of 'MacBeth'. Let me know when you will be coming to New York again, as I would like to talk with you about this before taking the matter up with anyone else...'' Single-page letter on a half sheet of his personal stationery measures 8.5'' x 5.5''. Folds and light smudging to signature, overall very good.
