Gold medal from the 1996 UEFA (Union of European Football Associations) Cup, won by a Bayern Munich player. Bayern Munich defeated Girondins Bordeaux 5-1 in aggregate goal scoring in the two match championship played on 1 May and 15 May 1996. Medal features the three-player logo, name of the tournament and year ''96'' on one side, and a larger version of the three-player logo on reverse. Gilded silver medal is hallmarked ''Peka / 925'' to bottom, and suspended from a red, blue and yellow ribbon. Measures 2'' in diameter. Weighs just under 2 ounces, or 55 grams. Near fine.
