Olympic torch program from the 17th Olympic games held in Rome from 25 August-11 September 1960. Program to celebrate the arrival of the Olympic torch outlines the day's events on 24 August 1960, when the torch arrived in Rome and was placed in the Senator's Palace. 8pp. program measures 8.25'' x 5'', with an off-set engraving of the Senator's palace on the cover. Bound by gold and crimson rope, program has an embossed seal of Rome on the 4th page. Light toning and foxing, otherwise near fine.
