Porforio Salinas Texas Bluebonnets plate, produced by Dashby Kilns. Salinas, a Texas landscape painter, was known for his paintings of bluebonnets, the state flower, blooming in Texas hill country. A nationally known artist, he was a favorite of President Lyndon Johnson. 10'' plate features a bluebonnet scene. Verso reads, ''Texas Bluebonnets from an original by Porfirio Salinas / Copyrighted 1952 / Dashby Kilns West, Texas / First Edition''. Moderate crazing throughout plate; sticker residue to front. Overall very good.
