Rare Laurel Award presented to director Henry Hathaway in 1967. The Laurel Awards for Hollywood directors, actors etc. were given from 1958 through 1971 (with the exception of 1969) by ''Motion Picture Exhibitor'' magazine. Elegant award plaque features a brass relief sculpture of a figure holding a film reel mounted to a wooden plaque painted black with gilt highlighting along the grain of the wood. Award recognizes Hathaway as No. 1 Director, as ''Voted by the Film Buyers of the Motion Picture Industry.'' With Southern California Trophy Co. sticker to verso. Measures 8'' x 12''. Near fine.
