It’s also the fourth most valuable association football club in the world as of 2013, valued at more than $1.3 billion.
Arsenal fans call themselves “Gooners”, a name derived from the team’s nickname, “The Gunners”.

In our current auction ending January 30th, we have a great collection of Arsenal jerseys from 2013, each signed by its player.
The jerseys are from a match played on 10 November 2013 between Arsenal and Manchester United, in which Manchester United beat Arsenal 1-0 after Robin van Persie scored against his former club for the third game in a row at the Old Trafford field.

Said Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger: “It’s difficult to lose the game. We conceded a goal on a set-piece. In a big game, that made the difference. In the first half we were too nervous and rushed our game too much. In the second half, when we played composed and had a real go and played our usual game, we were very, very, very, very close to scoring. We have to digest that and come back in a strong way. The heart and the desire was in it, maybe a bit too much in the first half.”
The yellow and blue away shirts, each of which has an embroidered poppy and the words ‘Arsenal Remembers’, together with details of the match, were worn by the team to commemorate Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day.
