We are thrilled to announce the auction of 700+ Al Capp comic art for sale items ended on September 26th, 2013 selling many tens of thousands of dollars worth and we are now looking for more comic art for our monthly auctions.

Comic Art for Sale

The Al Capp comic art for sale was privately held, each item offered had never been on the market before with many never-before-known unfinished strips.  Previously, we have had comic art for sale and have sold almost a million dollars worth of comic art works of Flash Gordon by Alex Raymond, Krazy Kat by George Herrimann & Peanuts by Charles Schulz, etc.

I have an Al Capp drawing of a shmoo he did for me when I was a kid and he was a guest speaker during a Boston Rotary noon meeting in the late forties or earrly fifties.
Any idea what something like that might bring in your auction?
