Signed photo by NASA's ''New Nine'', the second group of astronauts chosen in 1962 for the Apollo and Gemini missions following Mercury 7. Neil Armstrong was included in this group of nine astronauts, as were Elliot See who died in a 1966 plane crash, and Ed White, who lost his life in the Apollo 1 fire, making full signed photos of the group quite rare. The men sign near their respective images: ''Neil Armstrong'', ''Frank Borman'', ''Charles Conrad Jr.'', ''James Lovell'', ''James McDivitt'', ''Elliot See'', ''Thomas P. Stafford'', ''Edward H. White'' and ''John Young'', with See and White inscribing to the NASA employee to whom it was given. Matte photo measures 8'' x 10''. Bold signatures, although some written against their dark suits, limiting contrast. Inconspicuous vertical crease along right side and some wear to margins. Newspaper article from 1962 taped to verso. Overall very good condition. With PSA/DNA COA for all signatures.
