As a post-Civil War Congressman, Fessenden led the Joint Committee on Reconstruction but voted against the impeachment of Andrew Johnson. Signed slip measures 3.5'' x 2''. Slight irregularity of trimming to edges and faint foxing to lower right, else fine.
