Football medal given to ''OS Belenenses'' football club in honor of their winning a spot in the prestigious UEFA cup of 1989. The Belenenses club represented Portugal in the prestigious tournament and were eliminated in the second round that year. Circular medal features the image of a soccer player, as well as the ''Beleneses FC'' logo. Reverse lists the name of the club and ''Fundado Em 1919 / Clube Europeu / 1988/89''. Weighs 18.9 grams. Measures 3.25'' in diameter. Very good.
