London: Hayward, 1833. Presentation copy is inscribed by Hayward on the front free endpaper, ''...presented, with the highest respect, by the Translator / A.H.''. Hayward also writes ''not published'' on the title page and hand-corrects pages lviii, 16, 192, 209, and 246. Measures 5.75'' x 8.75''. Sunning to spine, light soiling and cracking to hinges. Overall a very good, scarce copy.
