Ray Bradbury's personally owned pair of signed limited edition volumes of his book, ''The Halloween Tree'', published by Gauntlet Publications: 2005. One book is in its original unopened cellophane wrapper. Both books are housed in beautifully designed black metal slipcases with a tree design painted in yellow and blue. Accompanied by a large matching metal case that fits one book and metal slipcase, with hinged lid featuring Bradbury's signature in red print and a tree with articulated cut metal Jack-O'Lanterns on the exterior. Case opens to a plate custom engraved with Bradbury's name. Volumes run 511pp. Bound in black faux-leather boards with gilt lettering and pictorial endpapers. In addition, a black satin pagemarker is sewn into binding. With dustjackets. Each measures 11.25'' x 8.75''. Wrapped volume and its dustjacket are fine. Unwrapped volume is in fine condition save for a creased page and its dustjacket is near fine. Metal slipcases are both near fine. Large case measures 14'' x 12'' x 2.5''. Lid detaches, else near fine. With a COA from the Ray Bradbury estate.
