Collection of NASA china used in dining rooms and cafeterias at the Johnson Space Center in Houston. Most dishes include a Syracuse China watermark to base and the NASA insignia is featured prominently. Set of 11 varied pieces includes: (1) two teacups with NASA insignia to outside center, 4'' in diameter x 2.5''; (2) an Apollo 11 ''Man on the Moon'' drinking glass commemorating the mission with patriotic symbols in red, white and blue, 2.75'' in diameter x 4''; (3) three slightly scooped teacup dishes with scalloped edges with no NASA insignia, 5.75'' in diameter x 1''; (4) two flat teacup dishes with NASA insignia, 5.5'' in diameter; (5) a brass saucer with various lunar insignia engraved to edges, with an Apollo emblem at center, and ''For your contribution to the first manned lunar landing 1969 / NASA'' also engraved to inner perimeter; (6) a large screw with the number '53' printed to head. Screw is encapsulated in Lucite, presumably taken from one of the NASA spaceships, 5.5'' x 2.75'' x 3'' in depth; and lastly, (7) four small NASA trinkets including a cuff-link, pin and two key-chains, each with a different NASA spaceship. Overall, near fine condition.
