Queen Victoria signed copy of her book, ''Leaves from the Journal of Our Life in the Highlands''. Smith, Elder and Co.: London, 1868 stated second edition. The Queen signs the front free endpaper, ''Victoria R'', inscribed to the Plymouth Working Men's Club in August 1869. Book contains several illustrations and a plate of Balmoral Castle, the Royal estate in Scotland. Measures 6'' x 8.5''. Bound in green cloth boards with gilt embellishments. Some cocking to spine, separation starting at joints and spotting to boards. Some foxing to interior and toning to signature page. Overall in good to very good condition, with a large, bold signature by the Queen.
