Abraham Lincoln military document signed on 5 February 1862, appointing Charles A. Alligood as Military Storekeeper in the Quartermaster's department. Document features blue stamped seal of the United States War department to upper left, with Lincoln's full signature to lower right. Countersigned by Secretary of War Edwin Stanton. Large document measures 15'' x 18'', in a 23'' x 28'' frame. Folds to document, one lightly touching signature, and one small spot of discoloration to top. Very good to near fine.
