President Calvin and First Lady Grace Coolidge signed birth certificate for a twin girl born on 31 March 1927. Certificate lists standard birth notations including time of birth and is signed along the bottom, ''Calvin Coolidge'' and ''Grace Coolidge'' both in black ink. An 18 April 1927 issue of the Washington Herald notes that the birth certificate belonged to one of the twins of Mrs. J.H. Hanna, ''...Their Father, Policeman Hanna, is on duty at the temporary White House at Dupont Circle...'' Also includes a birth chart, various photos of the twins and an original photo negative. Certificate measures 8.5'' x 11''. Minor toning else near fine.
