Dated 22 December 1938, shortly before Lorre starred in ''The Maltese Falcon'' and ''Casablanca'', and just after he finished ''Mr. Moto in Puerto Rico'', as referenced in the agreement. Two page contract on two sheets measures 8.5'' x 11''. Staple punctures at upper left, otherwise near fine condition.
