Latin language document begins in small part, ''Brief from Pius V to the prioress and sisters of the Monastery of Blessed Ludwig of Poissy (Le prieure royal de Saint-Louis de Poissy) in the diocese of Chartres, which is under the care of the Friars of the Dominican Order...'' Runs 8pp. on 4 sheets of thin vellum, measuring 8.25 x 11'' and bound on the left side. Near fine.
