Excellent pair of King George III silver trays. Oval-shaped trays feature contemporary coats of arms engraved to center, with gadrooned rims and handles. With maker's mark of William Bennett, London 1817 and stamps to underside, as well as a later engraving ''F.P.W. from L.S.C. / April 19, 1920''. Each measures 21'' across and weighs 6 pounds 8 ounces or 3247 grams. Some shallow scratching and rubbing to engraved arms, else near fine.
