Lovely lot of White House Christmas items, including a personally gifted ornament from Ronald and Nancy Reagan. All items were gifted to Congressman Bill Young and include: (1) Metal Christmas tree ornament in a bronze finish, engraved with ''1981 THE WHITE HOUSE CHRISTMAS'' across the front, gifted by the Reagans. Measures 3'' x 4'', in very good condition. Accompanied by a letter from the White House dated 18 December 1981 reading, ''Dear Bill: The President and the First Lady would like you to have this ornament...'' (2) White House Christmas card from 1981 reading in part, ''The President and Mrs. Reagan extend to you their best wishes for a joyous Christmas...1981''. Measures 5.5'' x 7.75'' in near fine condition. (3) Christmas card from the Nixons (with White House envelope postmarked 1973) reading in part, ''With all best wishes for a Merry Christmas...The President and Mrs. Nixon''. Measures 7.25'' x 5.5'' in near fine condition. (4) Christmas card from the Carter White House with gilt embossed Presidential seal and printed signatures of Jimmy Carter and Rosalyn Carter. Measures 7.25'' x 5.5'' in near fine condition.
