Neysa McMein signed original watercolor. An early 20th century artist and illustrator, McMein was also a member of the famed Algonquin Round Table. In this signed work to Mary MacArthur, daughter of actress Helen Hayes, McMein shows a seated woman furiously painting a portrait of a young girl. Composed on a blank book page measuring 7'' x 8.25''. Slight tear to edge, else near fine.
