George Custer signed envelope lot, comprised of 5 envelopes made out in Custer's hand to his wife ''Mrs. Genl Custer''. Envelopes are sent to Libbie at four locations: Monroe, MI, Fort Leavenworth and Fort Riley, KS, and ''339 Penn Ave.'' D.C. Each of the envelopes has original 3-cent stamps affixed and one envelope has two affixed. Postmarks bear the city and date without the year, except one which is dated 1867. Envelopes measure 5.25'' x 3.25'' with expected toning, uneven tearing to right or left edge from opening. Overall very good condition.
