Richard Nixon signed and inscribed ''The Memoirs of Richard Nixon'', Grosset & Dunlap: New York: 1978. He writes in blue felt tip on the fly-leaf: ''To Elaine Shepard / With best wishes / from / Richard Nixon''. The most personal of his books, his ''Memoirs'' runs 1120pp. and comes bound in navy cloth boards with gilt lettering. The lightest wear to board top and bottom edges, else fine. The dustjacket shows toning and chipping to spine top edge. Very good.
