Large banner for President Dwight D. Eisenhower. This piece was reportedly cut from skirting used to decorate a stage Ike spoke from aboard a Navy ship. Banner bears his printed image and lettering that reads: ''Our President / Dwight D. Eisenhower''. Cotton banner is composed of six segments machine-sewn together, adorned with yellow trim. Measures 91.5'' x 36''. Ragged cutting to left, right, and top edges. Cracking and scattered chipping to paint. In very good condition.
