Cal ''Abie'' Abrams signed Class AA minor league contract, dated 10 May 1947, with the Mobile Southern Association Baseball Club, Inc. Abrams played two years for the Mobile Bears before being signed by the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1949. The left-handed outfielder signs, ''Calvin Abrams'' on two pages of the four-page contract. The 8.5'' x 11'' card style document is in very good condition.
