The creator of the Ripley entertainment franchise inscribes the front free endpaper: ''With All Good Wishes / Ripley / 'Believe it or Not''' in black ink. The 172pp. book is an illustrated collection of surprising facts from science and human history, and opens with an introduction by Ripley: ''I make a living out of the fact that truth is stranger than fiction...'' Bound in khaki green cloth boards with red lettering. Top edge red. Measures 6'' x 9''. Light wear and prior owner's name on the front pastedown. Very good plus condition.
