Judy Garland contract signed, dated 2 April 1965, regarding her rights to the ''literary property designated as 'Babes in the Woods', also known as 'Born in Wedlock''' Garland and her husband Sid Luft bought the story, expecting to make it into a film. Here she sells her rights ''for the sum of $5,000.00''. It is signed by Michael Sidney [''Sid''] Luft and countersigned by Garland, who signs, ''Judy Garland''. The two page 8.5'' x 11'' contract is stapled in the upper left corner and has been hole punched. Overall in near fine condition.
