The text is in Cryillic and contains the pacifist ideology Tolstoy embraced. Print on the front cover labels this ''No. 3 of the Immediate Edition''. 48pp. novella measures 3.75'' x 5''. Light staining to fragile leaves and to outer edges of front cover. In very good condition. A rare edition signed by one of the most influential 19th century authors.
