Thomas Edison expresses his reaction to a letter written by his employee, Jaffrey Buchanan, dated 8 April 1921. The letter reports that a Mr. Devine proposes a scheme for the factory equipment. Buchanan proposes his own solution, ''...exactly the same as Devine's scheme, but without buying the pump & condenser...'' Edison writes at the top of the letter, ''Buchanan -- OK will depend on you -- have no faith in Devine / E''. Moderate chipping and toning to 8.25'' x 10.5'' letter, else very good.
