Thomas Edison adds a handwritten note to a letter from J.P. Devine, dated 7 April 1921. The two page typed letter about drying equipment for the Edison Chemical Company is addressed to the attention of Edison's assistant, H. Meadowcroft. Edison writes across the top of the first page, ''Buchanan see me about this''. Lot includes another three page letter from Devine to Jaffrey Buchanan, an Edison employee, dated 6 April 1921, also regarding drying equipment. Light toning to 8.5'' x 11'' letters on J.P. Devine Co. letterhead, else very good.
