Calvin Coolidge document signed ''Calvin Coolidge'' as President, dated 1 February 1926. Benjamin F. Woelper, Jr. is here appointed to a four-year term as Postmaster in Baltimore, Maryland. Coolidge's name is printed as a banner heading across the top, above his title ''President of the United States of America'' and the eagle emblem. A Post Office Department seal is lightly embossed to the lower left. 1pp. partially-printed document is filled in by an unknown hand and countersigned by Harry S. New as Postmaster General. Measures 17.75'' x 14''. Mounted to a heavy paper board. Toning, especially to edges, and a small stain to lower left corner. Very good.
