H.A. Rey signed first edition, first printing of the classic children's book, ''Curious George Rides a Bike'', with illustrator H.A. Rey also sketching the little monkey holding flowers. Boston: Houghton Mifflin Company, 1952 with 5-line copyright. Drawn by Rey on the flyleaf, with an inscription to Sam Anthony and dateline of Waterville Valley on 29 August 1959. Book measures 8.75'' x 10.375'' and runs 45 pages. Bound in publisher's yellow cloth boards with illustrated endpapers. Heavy wear to book, with missing backstrip, soiling to boards and some pages cut up, including the signature page, though not affecting sketch or signature. Fair condition.
