''James and the Giant Peach'' screen-used Earthworm stop-motion animation puppet. Large piece measures approximately 19'' long and 10'' in circumference at the widest point, made of hand-painted brown foam over a metal support structure. Based on Roald Dahl's novel, ''James and the Giant'' was director Henry Selick's follow-up to ''The Nightmare Before Christmas'', beloved by critics and audiences and described upon its 1996 release as a ''technological marvel.'' Some chipping to foam, especially on the back in two places. Overall in good condition. With an LOA from an animator on the film, Daniel Mason.
