Disney animation cel of Maleficent holding her magical scepter, used in the 1959 Disney film ''Sleeping Beauty''. Large hand-painted cel on background measures 12'' x 10'', matted to a size of 14'' x 12'', with Disney Production label to verso. A few pinpoints where loss of adhesion has occurred, but overall in near fine condition with no flaking or cracking. Consigned by the family of the original owner who acquired the cel at Disneyland in the 1960s.
