First edition, first printing of Carl Sandburg's novel, ''Remembrance Rock'' signed by the author. Harcourt, Brace and Co.: New York: 1948. Signed ''Carl Sandburg'' in fountain pen on the front free endpaper. Hardcover with dust jacket measures 5.75'' x 8.5'' and runs 1067 pages. Uniform block of toning on signature page and unobtrusive pencil notations in another hand. Clipped dust jacket has a few small tears to the spine and top edge. Overall, an attractive copy in very good condition.
