Zane Grey handwrites and signs a check, dated 12 February 1937. The dentist from Zanesville, Ohio, who wrote a series of popular Western novels, writes a check to ''Mrs Zane Grey'' for $33.10 on the Security First National Bank of Los Angeles. Grey's book, ''West of the Pecos'', was published the year of this check. Grey's wife also endorses the check, ''Mrs Zane Grey''. Lina Ellise Grey, her full name, is stamped on the verso. Near fine.
